Do you only install IKEA kitchens?+
IKEA SEKTION cabinets are our specialty — we've been doing them since 2006. We also install third-party fronts (Semihandmade, Reform, Kokeena, Nieu, Koak, Superfront, Fronteriors, Dunsmuir) on IKEA boxes, plus countertops and appliances. We're a state-certified building contractor, so we can also handle the related finish carpentry to make everything fit cleanly.
How does your pricing work?+
Cabinet installation starts at $185 per cabinet. That price includes interior fittings, cover panels, and fillers — work that other installers often charge as extras. The $300 in-home planning, measurement, and design appointment is separate and is credited toward larger projects.
Are you licensed and insured?+
Yes. We are a State Certified Building Contractor and a licensed and insured finish carpentry contractor. Copies of our business incorporation and licensing documents are available on request.
What areas of Florida do you serve?+
We primarily serve South Florida — Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties — including Miami, Coral Gables, Miami Beach, Aventura, Pinecrest, Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Boca Raton, and surrounding communities. Reach out if you're nearby and we'll let you know.
How long does an IKEA kitchen installation take?+
Most kitchens take between 3 and 7 working days from cabinet install through countertop and appliances, depending on size, modifications, and whether old kitchen removal is required. We'll give you a realistic timeline during the planning appointment.
Can you remove my old kitchen?+
Yes. We offer full removal and disposal of existing cabinets, countertops, and fixtures, with floor and wall protection. We coordinate utility disconnects so the demo day goes smoothly.
Do I need to have everything ordered before you start?+
It's best if cabinets, fronts, hardware, and appliances are on-site before installation begins. During the planning appointment we hand you a clean order list so nothing is missed and nothing extra is bought.

No. Kitchens Assembly is an independent contractor. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by IKEA®. We simply specialize in installing IKEA kitchens and have done so since 2006.
